Improvements in the Modular Test Bench

Due to new research demand the modular test bench was becoming obsolete. In order to keep up with the increasing demand for new and more accurate data the test bench will be improved. Starting this week a new data acquisition system will be installed, pre-combustion chamber, with integrated ignition system, and a improved regenerative nozzle are being designed. Soon after a new test campaign will begin were the impact of the modifications in the test bench will be measured along with new chamber instability, regression rate and specific impulse measures.

The new modular test bench will be used as a learning ground for the N-prize multi-stage rocket. It can be easily modified to include hydrogen peroxide rockets or a full size N-prize stage.
